Tam Syme(249 55 - 57), now in Florida, points out that the pilot of the aircraft skating down a canal was definitely not him!
He says he did do some very low flying as a crop-spraying pilot spraying potatoes, a good few years ago in Lancashire.

Also, in the Newsletter, the Editor typed, incorrectly, that P/O Bull died in an aircraft accident in 1955. However, Lenny Bruce (249 50/51), says he was a member of the Firing Party at his funeral and the Editor notes that "249 at War" records the accident as occurring on 8 December,1950.
